This design pushes the refinement of an elite mid-century cocktail table beyond even the period version. The joinery, and particularly the compound miter unifying the legs, is handwork at the highest level. The delicate rim boasts five chamfered edges, and bird-like legs are abstract sculpture tapering to a long tail. This is a statement cocktail table designed to anchor a setting. The greatest advantage of the glass top is its ability to capitalize on a fine rug.
